Is microcement slippery on floors / underfoot?

We often get asked if microcement is slippery when wet on the floor due to it’s smooth, seamless finish. The answer is that it is not any more slippery than you would expect a gritted tile or wooden floor to be when wet. There are 4 coats of clear sealant added on top of 4 layers of microcement and the final sealants have non slip elements added to ensure it is steady underfoot. Across the continent and particularly in Spain, Microcement is a preferred finish for swimming pools, pool surrounds, terraces baths and showers which demonstrates the effectiveness of the non slip elements we use.
